Culverlands is a relatively young but ambitious vineyard situated in the scenic Berkshire countryside, within the Thames and Chilterns wine region of England. Established in 2022, this winery represents the exciting growth of English wine production, contributing to the nation's reputation as a serious producer of quality cool climate wines. The vineyard spans 6.30 hectares of carefully tended vines, reflecting a meaningful commitment to English viticulture in one of the country's most promising wine growing counties.

The team at Culverlands cultivates an impressive diversity of grape varieties, demonstrating both expertise and ambition in their winemaking approach. Their plantings include Bacchus, a grape variety well suited to the English climate that produces aromatic and refreshing white wines, alongside Chardonnay, the classic Burgundian variety that forms the backbone of many of the world's most celebrated white wines and shows particular promise in the UK's chalky soils. The presence of Fruhburgunder, a German Pinot Noir variant, speaks to the winery's willingness to explore more unusual varieties for the English market.
